So I got a job from Owen that's very flexible (why today we worked for a little over 2 hours and I earned $21), and I borrowed books from the Film Village in the library@Esplanade, and I've finished Writing Television Comedy by Jerry Rannow. The book makes me think about the fact that it's probably easier getting into writing sitcoms in Singapore than it is in Hollywood and whether or not that is a lucky thing. I think it is, then change my mind after I consider the quality of Channel 5's sitcoms, then decide that that's why it's easier to write comedy in Singapore.

And it's 1.41am and Jeanine pops up saying, "our town is on fiiire", to which my reactions are !!! (what went through my head) and O_O omg what happened (what !!! means). And she tells me about brushfires and how school's cancelled and that people are evacuated and at the end of it goes "hehe". Which is pretty cheerful for someone whose town's on fire.
