Nadezhda bills itself as the only authentic Russian restaurant in Singapore. The borsch was certainly very different from the one I tried years ago at the Serangoon Garden restaurant, but quite lovely indeed. Buckwheat is too filling for me. Apple pancakes are nice. There was a Uni student baito-ing there; she'd gone to Russia for a year of uni, to learn Russian. [insert awed applause here]

Ahahaha the Chinese news happened to be on, and there is this story about supermarket baskets being stolen and stuff, and the basket company is called CMM. XD

AHAHHA and THEN there's an invention thing by Temasek Poly that allows people to put supermarket baskets on this stand, and the stand is attached to a wheelchair so that the wheelchair-bound can handle their shopping more easily. :)
