Today (technically yesterday) was Arts House and Primp day.
In the morning was a wonderful Play Theatre session in the Chamber, which had a Lee Kwan Yew chair. Jun Wei was a brilliant lamp. He has it in him, I know it, even when he's not as focussed as we'd like him to be. He has brilliance. The whole session had the kids open up a lot more; Natasha was also definitely willing to respond and had opinions of her own. It was really fantastic.
During warmups (when we were growing plants) Vivian Balakrishnan walked in with a whole lot of other people, and as they walked out again I caught a glimpse of Tina. I tried to look for her after the session, just to say hi, but didn't find her and didn't want to bother her because she wouldn't have time to entertain me.
I went back home, and prettied up. Haha, I've been wanting to do it for a week or so now; I wanted to use eyeliner and mascara. Usually I either have blush and eyeshadow, or no makeup at all. Today I even used lipshine, though I bit my lip and it bled, so I didn't want to reapply. I had styling mousse in my hair too. It's just fun to pamper yourself and take your time to dress up and get ready.
Dad drove me to the Arts House again for the Theatresports competition. On the way, he bought me dinner and I was eating in the car, and I was eating fast and I decided to take off my choker. Naturally, I left it in the car. Oh well.
The competition was fun, although sometimes painful. There were certainly high moments, and as Alison said "raw talent". Everything needs polishing, of course, but there is potential, definitely. Also a very energetic crowd, which I hope will be at the September 13 Madhatter show.
It's past 1am now, I'm hungry and sleepy. Imma go to bed. Bye.
