Pure Nerd
69 % Nerd, 13% Geek, 30% Dork
For The Record: A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia. A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one. A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions. You scored better than half in Nerd, earning you the title of: Pure Nerd.
The times, they are a-changing. It used to be that being exceptionally smart led to being unpopular, which would ultimately lead to picking up all of the traits and tendences associated with the "dork." No-longer. Being smart isn't as socially crippling as it once was, and even more so as you get older: eventually being a Pure Nerd will likely be replaced with the following label: Purely Successful.
Congratulations!
My test tracked 3 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:
You scored higher than 83% on nerdiness
You scored higher than 9% on geekosity
You scored higher than 36% on dork points

Today: A for Marketing Plan, A for Media and Society group assignment, A for Media and Society individual assignment, A for Media and Society total coursework.
If I get A for both exams, I hope I get Z for both subjects this semester. I think I might get Z for Graphic Design Fundamentals as well because I think I got A for all assignments and Soon Soon seems to love my work. -_- Journalism is a bit of a _______ but I hope the end grade is at least an A, because I don't hope for a Z (got C+ for mid-semester journalism test which was third in class and B+ on one of the group assignments which was the best). And Essential Graphics Software assignment will hopefully make Ethan giggle and give us an A, and then hopefully I get an A on the exam as well.
I really *am* gunning for a GPA of 4.0, I really am.

Right it's 4.28pm now, I have to be in school at 6 for my first Production Crew show ever! Yay! -_- My back aches and I need to change out of my "business" attire but all I wanna do is sleep.
I hope food will be provided.

Tomorrow should be fun: VSA demonstration in the morning, and Theatresports at night. Yee-hah! I think I shall bring my hat. Hawt!

I need a job. Unfortunately, I'm both a beggar and a chooser.
Lobang, please!

Alright. I shall now attempt to regale you with Monday's story, which was cruelly eaten by Blogger two days ago.
The Great Learning Adventure!
Evie and I and later Stella went into every shop (excepting Macs and Delifrance) in Tampines Mall Level 1, and our task that we happily gave ourselves was to learn something new, no matter how trivial, in each one. It was an extremely interesting experience, and we learnt cool things.
Like that the goatmilk products which Crabtree and Evelyn sell are supposed to make your skin softer.
And that The Body Shop has a range of scents which you are supposed to mix-and-match and use together. They are given exotic names which I cannot remember or pronounce, and one of them smells strongly of chocolate.
Soo Kee is the only jewelery place in Singapore and KL which sells the Brilliant Rose cut, and brilliant it is. The sales girl (I think her name was Josephine) was extremely nice to us and willing to entertain our questions. One thing that blew our minds away was that you could trade-in your diamonds. So like, you can trade your diamond for a bigger one after two years or so, and get it for cheaper. Like handphones.
Lee Hwa sells purple gold, which we have all seen on TV recently but was actually launched all the way back in 2000. We were quite shocked at that. This = The Power Of Advertising. I wonder why they didn't advertise before. It's extremely exclusive; they're the only ones in the world to sell purple gold, and get this - some TP guy invented it. Ho ho ho.
Swarovski sells bags, did you know? They also have rings, but not rings with one stone/crystal in it; the whole ring is like encrusted with the crystal, all round the band.
There was this stall right at the entrance of Isetan which was selling man-made diamonds for $25 ($2 for $50). I joked that you won't be able to tell it was real if your boyfriend proposed to you with it. The salesgirl said if you want to check you have to use this electronic pen thing.
And there were other shops that weren't as interesting or memorable and I have to go now because it's 5.04pm and I'm just glad I'm finally able to tell the story. It was daaaaamn fun we have to do it again even if it's annoying that some shops don't have anything interesting for you to ask about, like your run-of-the-mill boutiques.

My mum just gave me $30 in Tangs vouchers! I knew the As would amount to something! XD Ahahahaha.
