I went for my first volunteer session with VSA for the Playtheatre programme today. I watched them play the mirror game (I didn't participate because the volunteers far outnumbered the benefitiaries), and was struck by how incredibly good some of them are. The mirror game was one of the first we played during TSD, and it was a crazy beautiful thing for me (and Priya my partner) that happened, how we mirrored each other exactly and there was no indication of who was leading when. So when I watched these amazing kids I almost cried because it was so beautiful watching them do it so wonderfully; one was fantastic at copying, another had a great imagination in his movements, one paid such close attention to detail (meticulate cooking of eggs, it was, when the game was played with a scenario - shopping for eggs). I would love to play it again, given a chance. In fact, I would love to play it with Izzy.

Yesterday I started the day by almost being marked "absent" for the big D's tutorial. Eepers, I hope he doesn't think too badly about me (apparently he thought I wouldn't turn up; where is the faith in me!). We got good comments on our marketing plan proposal, though, so that was good shit. And then I handed in my brochure and SoonSoon said "wah got ribbon some more ah, so nice". And then I was coerced into watching Fantastic Four (when the day before I watched All About Dogs) after lunch at BK. Madness; have been rather tardy the past couple of days - late for SoonSoon's tutorial, skipped all Thursday's lectures to go get drunk and watch a crappy show, and then late for Mr D's tutorial too.
Anyway I went window shopping with Stella and Evelyn at Suntec after the show. I tried on a lot of clothes. I still want to do the Go To Paragon And Try On Whatever You Like, While Pretending You Can Pay For All Of It thing. I even tried on Daniel Yam dresses and told the very nice lady it was for a school dinner-and-dance event (which I know nothing about). Well it's not like I'll never go back there again, I mean, the service was really good and the dresses were incredibly pretty. I really liked this black above-the-knees crossback dress. Stella looked stellar *coughpunintendedcough* in a fun orange number and Evelyn was just so elegant in this gold tube dress with a shawl. ^_^ So fun.
Wanted to call Randall to continue window shopping with me but he was at the rock wall so I decided to go for the piano ensemble concert instead. Met like, everyone there. My old classmates, and even Mr Young, who says he finally got back his Monty Python, so that's a relief. Randall gave me his ticket, so hurrah (I was broke anyway; I would have gone home if he didn't). I don't regret going, the playing was good and I saw people again. Mingli rocks, she played like three pieces. Good job, dudette. <3
And then my Friday was made complete by a certain Matthew Schonfield who emailed from Indonesia. Woohoo! He's enjoying himself, yes. Haven't talked to Nick too recently, but I'd bet my top dollar he's having fun too.

Must get around to thinking about codeRED. Don't know what we're gonna do this year. Anyone wanna throw up ideas? Do we still do the two-person-host-with-planted-people thing, or do we all wanna rush in and burst into song as a huge group?

Tomorrow I'll be going to watch the School Of Rock semi-finals, and it'll be great cos I'll get to see Atiqah and Paul and George again. (Doesn't count that I saw Atiqah and Paul last night.) Atiqah was like "bring Fysh along!" cos I told her about how he reminded me of George, lol. And Eudora reminds me of Dawn. Anyone from TP wanna go? Starts at 1 at Junction 8.

I wonder if I am waiting for you.
And I'm curious to know how many people know who I'm talking about. Please tell me if you have made any guess.

I'm supposed to clean my room and write an 800 word thing. As usual, I am lazy. But I have to do it, so I guess I will. Soon.
