Arts Appreciation lecture today, in which we learnt about canned shit that passed off as art. Then photography, which was quite interesting and sparked the desire in me to turn professional.
I love school, it gives me something to do; stuff I really like, too. And the timetable isn't packed, so I can hang out with friends (classmates or ex-classmates) in between. I do get scared (is that the word?) sometimes though, when there's all that pressure on me to do well, because I really want to do well, and school hasn't started long enough for me to see clearly enough where I will stand and how I will fare. It's all exciting and nervewrecking and I love it.
After school we hung around Tampines Mall, where Philip made bad jokes, Bernie was brutally bullied, and Sue Anne went missing half the time. Went on train back home with Bernie and Karmen, and discussed his bulliablity.
Upon reaching home, mum said "let's go to JVC service centre!" So headed out again to get my camcorder repaired, found out that the tape really couldn't be removed, and I probably had to wait till next week to get it back. Went home.
Got message from Elly, and went out again for dinner with Elly, Zit and Faith. I haven't seen them in so long! ^_^ And when I said dinner, I didn't mean dinner, I meant sitting around having brownie bits and a spoonful of cheese noodles. Forgive me, but I'm cheap and I have to scrimp and save because my mum's been making noise about my spending. I was looking for something to eat that was $2 (I'd managed that for two days: on Monday I shared a Long John's meal with JoanneC and it came up to $1.80, this afternoon I had $2.55 Shrooms meal at KFC). But of course, in Taka, you don't get that. So I didn't eat.
Starved throughout the night and complained constantly while looking for a mascara I could buy, because I had a $20 Tangs voucher. Unfortunately, they all cost $30+++ to $40. Finally settled on Stila $22, and hope it works nicely.
Then went trying on high high heels! XD I love heels, I just can't walk far in them if they are any higher than the ones I wear regularly. There was a very very nice sparkly purple pair which I adored and cost $99. The salesladies were asking me what I was buying them for, so I just said a dinner-and-dance. Then I said that purple wouldn't do even though I loved its uniqueness, because it didn't go with the theme. I was sorry I left them; the shoes really were gorgeous. =D
Then we went to FCUK and I said "pick anything I wouldn't wear, and I will wear it!" I ended up trying on at least 5 outfits, and they had fun taking photos and stuff. =D
And finally I came home and was really hungry so I fried roti prata and an egg, and now I'm still hungry but I shouldn't stuff myself with any more food because it's not healthy so I shall just lie on my bed and c h i l l. (:
